More battery storage for the electricity system!

We have signed lease agreements for four battery storage facilities around Sweden with a total planned capacity of approximately 400 megawatts (MW). This is part of the project portfolio that was built up in 2025 and will be further developed in 2026.

Nätra-fors battery storage

In Nätra-fors, southwest of Örnsköldsvik, a battery storage facility with a capacity of 12 MW is planned.

Munga battery storage

In Öster Munga, just north of Västerås, we are carrying out early project development to establish a battery storage facility. There is major power distribution grid development ongoing in the region.

Domsjö battery storage

In Domsjö, Örnsköldsvik, a battery storage facility with a capacity of 6–10 MW is planned.

Starfors battery storage

Just north of Heby locality, we are carrying out early project development to establish a battery storage facility with a capacity of 50–80 MW. There is major power distribution grid development ongoing in the region.

New project portfolio with a total capacity of 1 GW

As we approach the autumn, JDA Renewables is focusing on the development of the company’s project portfolio. This will form the foundation for the company’s next phase of growth, bringing together several projects for further development in solar energy, wind power and battery storage.
