About

Just north of Heby locality, we are carrying out early project development to establish a battery storage facility with a capacity of 50–80 MW. There is major power distribution grid development ongoing in the region.

A lease agreement has been signed for the land that is directly adjacent to an existing 220/70/20 kV substation. In the ongoing grid development in the region, the connecting 70 kV power line voltage will be increased to 130 kV.

The battery storage facility will be able to contribute with stability, flexibility and balance to the strained electricity grid around Heby. It could also contribute with the possibility of more electricity grid connections for the benefit of local businesses and connection of more weather-dependent electricity production.

Brunna

A land lease agreement has been secured for the development of a battery energy storage system (BESS) in Brunna, Upplands-Bro municipality. The site is considered well suited for battery storage deployment in light of the ongoing grid developments in the area.
