The project is currently in the early stages of development and envisages the establishment of a 100 MW battery energy storage system. The project is planned to be delivered in phases, with an initial 30 MW scheduled for commissioning, followed by the addition of the remaining 70 MW.

Situated in Stockholm County within bidding area 3 (SE3), the BESS will provide valuable grid balancing and stability services while contributing to reduced electricity price volatility. Large-scale battery storage also enables additional grid connections and supports increased transmission capacity across the region.
