Is your land suitable for renewable energy?
For land to be suitable for battery storage, solar power or wind power development, it is advantageous if several of the following criteria are met. The site does not need to be perfect from the outset — we always carry out an individual assessment of each location and its specific conditions.
- Proximity to the grid – Land located close to substations or strong grid connection points is particularly attractive.
- Sufficient area – Larger contiguous land areas provide better opportunities for battery storage facilities, solar parks and wind power developments.
- Good accessibility – Road access and ease of access facilitate construction, maintenance and operations.
- Limited Constraints – Land located outside protected areas and with low conflict risk relating to residential areas or environmental values is often more suitable.
- Favourable Local Conditions – Solar irradiation, wind conditions and ground characteristics influence which type of energy project is most appropriate.
