JDA Renewables was founded with the objective of contributing to the transition towards a sustainable future. We are striving to achieve this through our expertise and experience within environmental law, project management, permitting, public administration and policy. Our business is built upon a strong understanding of different energy technologies, electricity networks and the energy system as a whole. We provide integrated project development services through collaboration with a network of partners.

David Åhs
CEO
About David
David actively works as a project developer alongside his role as Chief Executive Officer. He holds a Master of Laws degree and has extensive experience within the fields of energy, climate and environmental matters. Prior to founding JDA Renewables, David worked at the Swedish Energy Agency as an environmental law specialist and subsequently within the private sector focusing on the development of both onshore and offshore wind power projects.

About Anders
Anders holds a degree in Environmental Science from Umeå University and has a professional background as a Project Manager, Permitting Specialist and Permitting Strategist within the wind power sector at Vattenfall. Prior to this, Anders served as a Municipal Environmental Manager, expert advisor within Environmental Assessment Delegations, and County Administrative Board Director of Environmental Protection.

About Leif
In addition to his roles within JDA Renewables, Leif operates the company Easy Accounting, which provides accounting and financial administration services. Leif is an Authorised Accounting Consultant accredited by Srf konsulterna and has more than 20 years of experience in accounting and taxation. Raplexa AB and JDA Renewables also jointly operate a collaborative company focused on renewable energy projects.
Måns Widemark
Land negotiator
About Måns
In addition to his roles within JDA Renewables, Måns operates his own company, Widko Markförhandling, which specialises in land negotiations and land access agreements. Måns is a qualified chartered surveyor with extensive experience within renewable energy and from the perspective of private landownership. Widko and JDA Renewables also jointly operate a collaborative company together with Raplexa AB within the renewable energy sector.
Cases from the period as consultancy
We began in 2022 as a specialised consultancy operating as JDA Renewables Consulting, focusing on project management, environmental law assessments and permitting-related advisory services.
The following year, renewable energy project development was added through the subsidiary JDA Renewable Energy.
In 2024, the companies changed their names to JDA Renewables AB and JDA Renewables Development AB respectively and began operating under the unified JDA Renewables brand, combining consultancy services and renewable energy.
During the second half of 2025, we completed our final consulting assignments, and JDA Renewables is now fully focused on project development.
