About

In Nätra-fors, southwest of Örnsköldsvik, a battery storage facility with a capacity of 12 MW is planned.

We have signed a lease agreement for the land and started planning. Preparatory work for the Environmental Code Section 12:6 consultation has been carried out. The battery storage facility intends to be connected to Fors hydropower plant’s existing electricity grid connection.

Battery storage contributes to the stability and balance of the electricity system and can be used to supply energy when demand is high and store energy when demand is low. Battery storage increases the utilization rate of our common infrastructure and increases the reliability of the power supply system.
