New energy storage project in Stockholm
JDA Renewables has taken the first steps towards developing another battery energy storage project in Brunna, within the municipality of Upplands-Bro, just north-west of Stockholm.
JDA Renewables focuses entirely on project development
Since its establishment in 2022, JDA Renewables has operated through two principal business lines: consultancy services and project development within the renewable energy sector. The company has now elected to concentrate its activities on project development and will therefore discontinue its consultancy operations.
More battery storage for the electricity system!
We have signed lease agreements for four battery storage facilities around Sweden with a total planned capacity of approximately 400 megawatts (MW). This is part of the project portfolio that was built up in 2025 and will be further developed in 2026.
New project portfolio with a total capacity of 1 GW
As we approach the autumn, JDA Renewables is focusing on the development of the company’s project portfolio. This will form the foundation for the company’s next phase of growth, bringing together several projects for further development in solar energy, wind power and battery storage.

We are excited to announce that we have entered a cooperation with TOWII Renewables Sweden AB. JDA Renewables new member of the Swedish Wind Energy Association
JDA Renewables is now a member of the Swedish Wind Energy Association (SWEA), as one of the trade association’s approximately 150 members.
JDA Renewables expands its renewable energy business and launches new website
JDA Renewables Consulting has during the past year provided consulting services in renewable energy in Sweden. In May, the business was expanded with project development of battery storage, solar energy, wind power and hydrogen through the subsidiary JDA Renewable Energy. The two companies will from today operate together under one name and a common website, JDA Renewables.
